Squats are the best possible exercise for shaping and strengthening your glutes. It’s also one of the best overall exercises. Properly doing squats will boost your heart rate and metabolism while simultaneously building muscle.
To do a squat, position your feet slightly wider than your shoulders (a wider stance will target your butt more than your legs), and hold a weight above your shoulders. Lower down slowly until your thighs are parallel to the ground, pushing your butt slightly outwards. Perform 3 sets of 10-12 sets, resting for a minute or two between sets.
